The open air museum has four historical eras to explore namely Prehistoric, Roman Period, Viking Age and the Medieval Ages which was my favourite era. There are reconstructed villages to explore complete with dwellings and live actors playing out roles. There are two main restaurants and a few snack bars. There is a lot happening in this creative museum and you should look out for their themed fairs and special activities happening throughout the year. You can use a museum card to gain free access but parking is not free.
