Pancake house The Monastery

Enjoy delicious medieval pancakes with ingredients from the Green Heart and grains from the Alphen Mill de Eendracht.

A cozy and attractive restaurant for a delicious pancake lunch or dinner.
Just warm up with a nice cup of coffee, tea or cappuccino and also ask for the special beers including the 'Drie-knopen' beer or medieval honey wine.

Our restaurant is located in the Minderbroeders monastery a reconstruction from the year 1350 as it stood in the Dutch trading town Dordrecht. The pancakes are made from the grains of the Alphen windmill De Eendracht. 100% organic and a choice of white or wholegrain flour. The apples come from the orchard from Woerden, the different types of jam come from the Green Heart as well as the butter.
