Living project

Living project

An extensive program with active and creative activities including breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Roman Inn.

On an adventure with the class

For a really special school trip, students can live one or more days at Archeon in a different time. A living project is an extensive program with active and creative activities, complete with breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Roman Inn. In a living project, students experience a certain era in as many ways as possible. Art and culture, people and society, nature and technology and sports and games are all dealt with dynamically.

We ask students to bring a sleeping bag ourselves, we can also take care of everything. Showers and toilet blocks are available, and in the evening we provide a crackling campfire and drinks of your choice. This way everyone can enjoy a real Archeon evening, back in time.

Cives Romani Roman life project for the Gymnasium € 49.50 per person
A Cives actually takes an entire school travel day, but can be adjusted in length according to your wishes. Depending on the age of the students and the knowledge of Latin, we compile an interesting program. Here the history, culture, language, religion and army of the Romans are discussed in a lively way. The emphasis of the Cives Romani is on the lives of the ordinary Romans in the Empire, in contrast to that of the one percent rich Romans that you see in films!
To guarantee the quality of the routes, we use groups of up to 18 students. Above this number we reserve an extra Archeotolk at € 89.50 per day, per each additional 18 students.

We offer the following components:

  • Crafts and techniques
  • Gladiator exercises and army exercises
  • Bathhouse rituals
  • Domestic life and crafts
  • City planning and construction with a groma
  • Roman food

  • And much more..

All components are placed by the Archeotolk in a historical, archaeological and cultural context.
