Prehistoric week

During the prehistoric week you will learn how things were done thousands of years ago. In the Mesolithic era, the hunters and gatherers will share their stories. The first farmers will show you how to make your own bracelet out of twine and the inhabitants of a funnel-beaker farm will make you some delicious nettle tea. Behold the tools used for farming during the Bronze age and have a sneak peek into the lives of the people that lived during the Iron age.

There will also be special demonstrations from Jonathan Dymond. All the way from Devon, UK, this experimental archaeologist and prehistorical handwork teacher will demonstrate how to use tools and flint from the Stone age.
