These bellows consists of two 'rooms'. The bottom blows up the top, which then slowly deflates. Through a leather hose a constant stream of air is blown into the fire. In the Middle Ages thay also used versions were two bellows side by side work, which also produce a constant air supply. Only if the fire is hot enough the smith can do his work.

Activity Tour
