Prehistoric hut

As you can read in stories about prehistory, the first humans were hunters and gatherers. They moved from place to place and had no permanent residence. We call these people nomads.

Hunters, fishermen and collectors never stay in the same place for long. When the game in their environment is thinned or running out, they move on. Along the way, they also pick up other things, such as bird eggs, berries, larger fruits, nuts, edible tubers or roots and even wild vegetables. They did not grow or breed themselves. Their home consisted of simple tents made of natural materials that they found in the area.
