Exhibition: Napoleon Long Live the Emperor

Unfortunately closed due to the lockdown in any case until January 14, 2022.
We hope to welcome you again soon!

Who was Napoleon? We all know the little guy with the big hat, but what do we know about him? He has fought many battles? Banish? The Battle of Waterloo? And what should we think of him? Did he choose the right side or the wrong side?

Archeon concludes the Napoleon Year 2021 with a major exhibition about the life and meaning of Napoleon Bonaparte, a special and enigmatic man. Many of his reforms laid the foundation for our current system. Because of him, for example, we still drive on the right and measure the distances in kilometers.

How he pulled it all off? He just came to the right place at exactly the right time. The time of nobility was over, but so was the time of revolution. In many wars, Napoleon was a strategist without equal.

He managed to win hearts. Then, but even now.

The exhibition can be admired in the Roman Bathhouse in Museum Park Archeon from December 18, 2021 to March 20, 2022.
